Geeks Who Drink Trivia

Craft Beer

Don’t let the name fool you. You don’t have to be a trivia geek to have a blast at Geeks Who Drink Trivia. If you like hanging out with your friends, having a few brews, all while answering some trivia questions, this event was custom-made for you. This event starts at 6 p.m. every Thursday at the Oil Horse Brewing Company, and it’s seriously one of the coolest events you’ll ever attend. Grab your smartest buddies (or the ones that are the most fun), assemble a team, and get ready to show the rest of Longview just how smart you are. If that doesn’t work you can just show them you know how to have a good time.

How the Event Works

Just what is Geeks Who Drink Trivia? This is essentially a homegrown Pub Trivia Quiz, much like the trivia events you’ll find in the UK and Ireland. It always covers a broad range of topics that range from bad TV to celebrities in trouble. There’s usually a good dose of music trivia mixed in as well.

So, teams of up to six people listen to two audio clips in each round. As a participant, you’ll listen to the clip and determine an answer.

No Team? No Problem

So, your friends just aren’t into trivia. Maybe they don’t want to show their smarts off to the people of Longview, or they have some serious PTSD over a trivia night gone wrong. That must mean you have to miss out, right?

Not so fast. Here’s another great thing about Geeks Who Drink Trivia. The staff will actually try to match you up with an existing team if you need one. You can even play all by yourself if you want. It might be a challenge but imagine how smart you’ll feel when you take first place all by yourself.

Now you know what you’re doing next Thursday, but how are you getting there? Taking a bike? Maybe going to Uber it? What if you could drive up in a brand-new Toyota? You’d look like a winner before answering a single question. Stop by Toyota of Longview in Longview, Texas, and we’ll help you find the wheels you need to impress people at trivia. You’ll turn heads out in the parking lot, and then you’ll turn them again when you show your stuff at trivia.
