Rock Out At The 903 Music Fest

903 Music Fest

It’s almost time to rock in Longview. The 903 Music Fest will be in downtown Longview on Oct. 12 and 13, and it’ll be packed with music. There’ll be 10 bands over the course of two days, and general admission single day tickets are $20 on Friday and $25 on Saturday. Check out what you can expect if you attend this festival.

The Lineup

This festival is all about the music, and it’s really going to deliver. The lineup is incredibly impressive, with a nice mixture of options that are sure to please fans of all genres.

Let’s start with the headliners. Each day will have its own headliner, with the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band taking the honors on Friday. Kenny Wayne Shepherd is known as one of the best blues musicians of all time, and he has plenty of hits to back that up. He’s been making hits since the 1990s, including, “Born with a Broken Heart” and “Never Lookin’ Back.” Don’t be surprised if the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band brings down the house on Friday.

Clint Black will headline on Saturday. The award-winning artist has the smoothest baritone in the business, and you can hear it on songs like “A Better Man” and “Half the Man.”

Then, there are the other musicians, such as “American Idol’s” Casey James. Oh, and make sure you see The Molly Ringwalds. This band brings the ‘80s hits, along with the full ‘80s experience.

Plus, the Sam Hyman Band will be there. Sam Hyman plays timeless classics with a twist. He puts his own spin on each of the songs he performs, and it is truly amazing.

You’ll also get to listen to:

  • Tusk
  • Dagnabbit
  • Chad Cooke Band
  • Akeem Kemp
  • The Mansion Family

There truly will be a little bit of everything here.

The Experience

You’ll also get to visit different booths during the event. The coolest has to be the Roughneck Harley-Davidson booth. It’ll feature the Jumpstart Experience, where you will actually get to mount and ride a Harley. It’ll be on a roller system, so don’t worry. You won’t end up flying into the stage while Clint Black is singing.
